Sabbatical

Against all of my greatest intentions

You make plans. God always has a plan that’s greater.

Against my own greater plan-making of regular publication here on Substack, God has had a different plan for me these last several weeks.

And, rather than white knuckle my way through my own agenda, I am learning to soften, yield, and surrender to His will.

Easier said than done—but here I am.

I appreciate you sticking around, even if my appearances in this space have been few and far between.

In order to name and tame the beast of my own making, I am here officially claiming a brief but necessary sabbatical from all my creative commitments.

I’ll be back. But for now, my energy and devotion is needed elsewhere.
