About Rachael
A mother being shaped by grace, and a woman called to teach as God teaches me.
Hi, I’m Rachael — and I’m a once-skeptical, now-captivated follower of Jesus learning how grace remakes a life from the inside out. I am a Christian mother of three, bride to my beloved Alberto, homemaker, homeschooler, writer educator, and woman being gently formed by Jesus through the everyday rhythms of family life.
I live with my family in a classic hacienda on a rancho tucked into the coastal mountains of Mexico. My days are stitched together with tasks that are quite ordinary, by the world’s standards at least—barefoot at the stove, reading stories aloud in the courtyard, folding endless baskets of laundry, stomping through dew covered pastures.
I carry a tender testimony, a deep love for theology, and a growing conviction that Jesus meets us most powerfully in the places the world calls small. This Substack is my table; So pull up a chair, friend. There’s room for you here.
My formal background is an eclectic mix of education, psychology, and trauma-informed coaching—I hold a M.A. degree in Education as well as numerous trainings and certificates in somatic psychology, counseling, and ministry.
God has given me a deep love for teaching, writing, mentorship, spiritual formation, nervous system education, beauty-making, and creating order out of chaos. These gifts have shaped every part of my journey, and He has asked me to steward them in service of other mothers — women whose presence and well-being set the tone for their entire homes.
I believe a mother’s heart becomes the atmosphere her family breathes.
When she is rooted in Christ, her home becomes a sanctuary.
When she is overwhelmed, the whole house feels it — not because she is failing, but because her role is sacred.
I don’t write or teach from a place of arrival. I write from a place of being continually remade — through Scripture, through motherhood, and through the persistent love of God who meets me in laundry piles, morning prayers, and the quiet corners of my heart that still need healing.
The Kingdom Mother exists because God is forming me, and He has called me to teach as He teaches me — gently, biblically, prayerfully, and with honest humility. Everything I create flows from that ongoing work: courses, guides, prayers, rhythms, reflections, and frameworks meant to help mothers cultivate peace, presence, and joy through Christ.
If you are here, it is not accidental.
God is doing something tender in you, too.
I’m honored to walk alongside you as we grow in Him, day by day, strength by strength, grace upon grace.

Words from Women I’ve Served
I share these words with gratitude and humility.
For many years, my work took place in small circles, one-on-one conversations, and tender spiritual guidance with women from around the world. These reflections come from that season. They speak not only of me, but of the work God faithfully does when two or more gather in His name.
I offer them here not for my glory, but to give you a glimpse of the kind of presence, depth, and care I bring to the women I serve — and ultimately, to bear witness to God’s kindness in allowing me to walk with them. I’m grateful for the privilege of having walked with so many women, and I hold these words as reminders of His faithfulness.
